Na 15 jaar jaarlijkse reizen naar Nepal met trekkings willen we onze horizonten verleggen en deze keer naar Ladakh-Zanskar reizen..Het is de eerste x en hoe beginnen we aan de voorbereiding?We hebben al onze vlucht naar delhi(25 juni,terug 21 juli)
Is reizen in Ladakh gemakkelijk met openbaar vervoer?We hebben een reisvoorstel gekregen van een reisbureautje in Leh :
Pick up from the Leh airport (altitude 3500mtrs) Welcome at guesthouse. Morning free for acclimatization. leave for a short sightseeing to Shantistupa, Tsemo each places are of 3-4 kms from your hotel. Check out from guesthouse. Leh air port to Hotel 15 minutes drive.
Day 2 27th: After breakfast Visit to Cashmere Mill and Hall of fame a military museum. After the lunch drive down to Alchi to help acclimatization visit Alchi Monastery most important for its mural. Night stay at hotel Zimkhang Alchi. 2 hours drive.
Day 3 28th: Check out for kargil visit Lamayouru monastery on the way lunch at Lamayouru.5 hours drive.
Day 4. 29th: kargil to Padum the centre of Zanskar. Packed lunch. 10-11hours drive
Day 5. 30th: Day long tour to Bardan, tungri monastery and around Padum. Stakrimo monastery and centuries old rock carvings few kilometers from hotel. Hotel not conformed but options of camping too.
Day 6. 1st July: Day long sightseeing to Sani, Karsha, Stongday monastery and drive to Pishu the trekking point. Trekking Camp.
Trek from Zanskar
Day 7. 2nd July: Pishu - Hanumil (5 hours)
Easy trek along the right bank of the river to Rinam village, continue to the tiny hamlet of Hanumil (3'380m, 11089ft). O/N in tent amidst the trees and fields.
Day 8. 3rd July: Hanumil - Purfi-La - Snertse (6 hours)
Follow up and down a steep path to the Purfi-La (3'950m, 12'959ft), then to Snertse (3'850m, 12'631ft). O/N in tent.
Day 9. 4th July: Snertse - Hanamur-La - Lingshed (6 hours)
Steep climb to the Hanamur-La (4'950m, 16'240ft), enjoy the impressive views of the Ladakh and Zanskar ranges. Near Hanamur-La visit the Lingshed monastery (4'000m, 13'123ft). O/N in tent.
Day 10. 5th July: Lingshed - Netuke-La - Khyupa-La (6 hours)
Long and gradual ascent to the Netuke-La (4'280m, 14'042ft), enjoy the magnificent view towards the Nierag valley. Descend shortly to the villages of Skimpata and Gongma. Steep climb to the Khyupa-La (4'300m, 14'107ft). O/N in tent.
Day 11. 6th July: Khyupa-La - Senge-La - Photoskar (6 hours)
Start the day early as Today climb to yet another pass, the Senge-La (5'050m, 16'568ft) from where you can see an amazing scene of hanging icefalls. Descend towards the Photang river and walk through barley fields to reach Photoskar (4'200m, 13'780ft). Same day to leh.
Day 12 7th July: Himis monastic festival
Day 13. 8th July: Check out for Nubra valley drive about 5-6 hours via highest motor able road in Ladakh 5600mtrs. Check in Nubra Camp ( 2900 mtrs) for lunch
Day 14. 9th July: After breakfast check out for leh but Visit Diskit monastery before heading for leh. Picnic lunch on the way by the stream 20 Km before leh. guesthouse leh
Day 15. 10th July: Check out for Pangong lake to the east of ladakh starched between the Tibet and ladakh border. www.Pangong lake.com we cross the 3rd highest pass in Ladakh 5300mtrs 10-15 minutes stop on the top for photos but longer stop will depend on your adaptation to the altitude. On the way we see yak camps and few horde of cashmere goats, there are two check posts where you have to show your inner line permit and passport too. Night stay in Himalayan wooden cottages Pangong. 5-6 hours drive
Day 16. 11th July: Back to leh visit Tangtse monastery on a unique location. Check in guesthouse Ladakh. 5-hours drive
Day 17. 12th July: free
Trekking part chilling to Himis via Markha valley
Day 18. 13th July: Half the day free for preparation for the trek after lunch drive to the trekking point for a short trek from Chilling to Sku village 2-3 hours
Day 19. 14th July: Sku to Markha village
Day 20. 15th July: Markha to thou chung tse
Day 21. 16th July: Thau chung tse to Neemaling
Day 22. 17th July: Neemaling to Shang Sumdo
Day 23. 18th July:leh free
Day 24. 19th July: leh free
day 25 20th joy : fly to delhi

Is dit duur naar Indische normen?Komen we goedkoper uit als we ter plaatse alles regelen?
