Nepalese movie Matribhumi on Sunday 26 September 2010 in Amsterdam
‘I have crisscrossed much of Nepal. From the air, you see the incredible geographic diversity of this country, how it is laid out like a staircase to the heavens. From the hazy plains, through the rippled blue-green midhills to the dazzling saw-tooth of the northern horizon. And wherever I arrive, I meet Nepali men and women who are living proof of how varied topography is reflected in Nepal's ethnic mosaic.
During the civil war, the Nepalese people had just one concern ‘Peace’. Today, four years since the civil war ended, Nepali are confused, disillusioned and fearful about their future. Annually approximately three millions of Nepalese youth and adult fly abroad for job and other purposes. This entails that Nepal will be burdened by old and infants people in the nearest years.
