Beste KLM,
Day after I will be traveling to San Francisco. I get the same uneasy feeling when I take next KLM flight. Reasons: Rude Cabin Crew, Lousy Food which has become synonymous with KLM and if KLM flight is delayed then the only thing that KLM can boast for i.e. punctuality, becomes also invalid.
I am just recalling my last experience on KL 872 DEL-AMS-DEL, a service that I often use among thousands of others, who share onboard misery with me on KLM flights and never send a feedback to you. Look it took me 2 years of frequent flying before I write this mail to you. I still wonder if this mail reaches a manager or simply ends up in the Recycle bin of a call centre personnel with a thanks note to me.
Some comments about yr wonderful Indian meal service:
Snack served on board KL 871/872 is simply hopeless. You claim it as a asian special meal. As an Asian passenger I do not recognize which continent it comes from. Even it that wouldn't matter, had that tasted good.
Always shortage of breads and drinks: I hope loading cargo an drinks does not take your cargo revenue down. Your crew says that head office has instructed them to fly light and but this message has only reached your kitchen. However, it wouldn't matter much if shortage of breads and drinks is communicated in a polite manner to the passengers. I am talking about non-alcoholic drinks here like water and soda. Your inflight magazine says you should drink plenty of water when you are flying. You can also consider editing your in flight magazine instead.
By the way who is Andy Varma?
Flying Blue program has become more and more cruel to frequent flyers if the poor service on board was not enough. Now you fly frequently and earn 25% of miles as if you were not flying enough. Often promoted partner airlines like Jet/Kingfisher do not qualify for Flying blue miles and as a passenger I have no way to know when I will earn miles when flying a partner airlines.
Hope you hear this when you land next time.
