Hallo, momenteel zit ik in Auroville, vertrek overmorgen naar Kochin.
Nu hoor ik dat de monsoon daar zojuist gestart is. Wie weet wat meer
van het weer, want iedereen vertelt me iets anders. En soms kloppen de
gegevens op het internet ook niet helemaal. Is het beter om nog meer naar
het zuiden te gaan (vanuit Kochin) of meer richting Goa?
Ik hoor het graag. Heb nog geen idee hoelang ik in India blijf, kan paar dagen
of enkele weken zijn.

Yesterday’s low pressure area over Telangana and neighbourhood now lies over Vidarbha & Marathawada in association with an upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto mid-tropospheric level.
· The upper air cyclonic circulation over east central and adjoining northeast Arabian Sea off Maharashtra-Gujarat coasts persists and likely to move westwards.
· Under these conditions, fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, south Gujarat and Coastal Karnataka during next 48 hours.
· Numerical Weather Prediction models indicate formation of a fresh low pressure area over westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal around 15th. Under its influence, rainfall activity is likely to increase initially over Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
