On my last day in setrawa(my home town 110 kilometer from Jodhpur), 2 days back,it is on Jodhpur-Jaislmer highway, half a kilometer off the national Highway road, I was taken by some localmen to see a lady tied to a tree, she has been tied to the tree for last 4 years, they said she is mentally disabled, she is a young girl and i think not more then 22 years old, her child died 4 years back, just after 1 and half month of birth, her husband and his family left her because she got ill and was sent to her mothers home, this is where we saw her tied to the tree outside her own home where she grew up, She spoke to us nicely, later asked for some water, her mother came with a jug of water in one hand and in the other hand a stick, the girl got very frightend and started to scream and shout, we couldnt stay there any longer and had to leave. I am really very upset, i wish i could do something for her, her maternals said if she is set loose she attacks right away. kindly help me with wise information to help her out.
